What is it?
AIEnRUTa-Jazz is a program organized to promote and support Spanish jazz performers within the University environment, to disseminate their proposals and to broaden the reach of jazz music through the programming of jazz performances in new spaces.
How does it work?
A jury will select several jazz performers and bands to participate in a series of live performances within the circuit of universities adhered to the program. Submit your application and apply to participate!
When does it take place?
AIEnRUTa-Jazz is a yearly program. The selection process of artists and works is carried out in November and performances take place between January and June.

How to participate in the selection process

A CD if your work has been published in a physical format, or a receipt or proof document if it is published in a digital format.
Biographical sketch (musical style).
Contact details (name and surname, address, phone number and e-mail).
Who selects the artists?
The selection of artists participating in AIEnRUTa-Jazz is carried out by a committee of renowned experts in the field of jazz music from all over Spain.
Carrying out the selection process
The committee meets in each call for submissions and, after examination, selects 4 candidates among all soloists and groups who have submitted their application.
If you have been selected, AIE will contact you and ask you to provide any additional documents required along with an adequate audio/video release.
When does the selection take place?
The committee carries out an annual selection process. The next selection committee will meet in November 20, 2024. The call for proposals is open until November 13.
