New CURSOAIE for Members: “Challenges and growth of the artist: A psychological perspective”

The course will be conducted by Rosana Corbacho, a psychologist specializing in the music industry.

The AIE Society of Artists presents a new free CURSOAIE for its members. Titled “Challenges and growth of the artist: A psychological perspective“, the course will be conducted by psychologist Rosana Corbacho and will take place in a hybrid format, with prior registration required, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

This course invites participants to reflect on the inherent challenges of an artist’s profession, such as uncertainty, public exposure, and self-criticism, while connecting these to the development of self-awareness and growth tools. Additionally, the course aims to strengthen artistic identity, cultivate resilience, and promote sustainability in professional careers. Participants will explore how certain emotional and psychological difficulties can impact well-being and creative processes.

Through interactive dynamics, attendees will identify their core values, discover ways to manage both successes and failures, and design strategies to stay motivated and focused on their artistic evolution.

The course will be conducted by Rosana Corbacho, a clinical and humanistic psychologist specializing in the music industry for over 15 years. Her extensive experience in various roles within the cultural sector led her to establish M.I. Therapy, where she works with artists and other professionals through individual, group, and band therapy. She is currently part of Amber Health, supporting mental health care for international tours, and serves as a guest lecturer in several industry-specific master’s programs.

To attend the CURSOAIE in person, please, send an email to cursosaie@aie.es with your full name, membership number, ID number, and contact phone number. Capacity is limited to 40 people, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
